For over 35 years, JACKON Insulation by BEWI has been developing innovative solutions made of extruded polystyrene rigid foam (XPS) for construction, renovation and industrial applications. What began in 1987 is now characterised by high innovative strength, new processes and products that convince in planning and application – with high-performance thermal protection, high application reliability and solutions for energy-efficient building.

With JACKODUR® insulation materials and JACKOBOARD® construction boards, JACKON Insulation by BEWI has established strong brands for demanding construction and renovation tasks. The products and systems convince through thermal insulating properties, versatile application possibilities and system competence – from flat roof to floor slab to modern bathroom design.

The company has also tapped into high-growth markets in numerous industrial fields of application. Every day, around 350 employees with plenty of expertise and years of experience work on fulfilling customer requests with the best possible solutions and continuously improving the products. Always close to our customers

Our headquarters along with some production are situated in Mechau, Germany; there is an additional production site in Olen, Belgium. Sales and Marketing are based in Steinhagen, Germany, while the French sales office is located in Mundolsheim and there is an additional site in Wittnau, Switzerland. Having an extensive sales force, JACKON Insulation by BEWI is always close to its customers.

Since October 2022, JACKON Insulation by BEWI has been part of the BEWI Group. BEWI is a leading, publicly listed European provider of packaging, component and insulation solutions.

State-of-the-Art Construction Board Production in Belgium – More Capacity, Modern Technology and Short Routes to Customers

In mid-2024, the new plant for the production of XPS construction boards in Olen commences operations. Equipped with maximum automation and state-of-the-art robotics, this production line represents cutting-edge technology.

The new production line uses electricity from renewable energy sources and enables the use of recyclates in construction board production. Proximity to important sales markets shortens transport routes to many customers.

With the new facility, JACKON Insulation by BEWI significantly increases its manufacturing capacities whilst also investing in modern production technology, recyclate use and continuous quality improvement.
